This is usually done at the end of the month when your firm\ninvoices the client for billable time and expenses. The cadence can vary based\non accounting and other agreements. Some firms will issue you a corporate\ncredit card you can use for travel so you are not having to put up the cash\nyourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These costs should rarely be out of pocket. It is very\ndifficult for someone to put up thousands of dollars a month to pay for travel\nand expenses outside of the home office of employment. In the odd case they are\nnot immediately reimbursed, remember to keep a record of everything that you\npaid for as a business expense so that you will be able to claim those on your\ntaxes at the end of the year.
