QA and Testing
The quality assurance team will be in charge of testing all new items against the items described in the requirements and then stepping through the test scripts. They will attempt their best to break the product and deviate from any steps to see if the correct error handling is in place. Be warned, the QA team will drive you crazy during this phase. There is also a good chance that you will be the QA team for one of your projects, so please try to be sympathetic towards their obsessive attention to detail as you may be in the same spot later on and it will serve you to be just as meticulous. There is no such thing as overkill in testing as all items caught and remedied here will only lend itself to a more bulletproof end product.
